Second Service Elementary:

Rio from David C. Cook

Rio is based on the belief that our faith is a relational one, and that the best way to grow people in the faith is to enable them to deepen their relationship with God and others. We strive to engage relationships at all levels—leader to child, child to child, child to parent, parent to leader—all within the context of a relationship with God.

Rio is a dynamic new way to engage the kids in your ministry and their parents using both printed materials and online resources. Using the popular classroom model, Rio provides the best in spiritual formation for your leaders and kids. Launching with a curriculum for first through sixth grade, the two-year Scope and Sequence is God-centered and provides full Bible coverage within the context of God’s grand story.

Rio knows kids today don’t think about information in the same way. They look at information as interconnected, and that’s how we present the Bible lessons, as all part of the same incredible story being written by God.

Rio focuses on spiritual disciplines and enables kids to access the Bible on their own so they can learn how to study and relate to God’s Word beyond the classroom.
